Ebrahim Sidat, Ceo

Ebrahim began his professional career reading Law with Accountancy at The University of Manchester and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor within the specialist tax department for KPMG. Ebrahim was appointed CEO of Signature Tax in 2012 where he was responsible for setting up and growing the firm with a national presence. Signature Tax now has three offices across the UK in Manchester, London and Birmingham.

Ebrahim continues to refine and broaden his skill set by studying courses at Harvard Business School and has won several awards in recent years. Ebrahim also sits on the boards of many well established British businesses. Ebrahim and his family have a passion for education and run educational projects in the UK and around the world through their own charity. Ebrahim also runs his own Academy, focused on taking talented youngsters from disadvantaged communities with limited opportunity and mentoring them into successful careers.

Most recently, Ebrahim founded a premier business networking initiative called AU Nexus, a non-profit organisation focused on cascading the wealth of experience from the leaders within the British Asian community over to the new young breed of Asian entrepreneurs.

Esmail Jasat, Associate Director, london

Esmail is based at Signature Tax’s London office in the West End.  With a decade of banking experience with Nationwide Building Society and Al Rayan Bank (formerly known as the Islamic Bank of Britain), Esmail held various managerial roles to help develop client's business interests; in particular he managed all the branches in the London area, as well as managing community banking nationwide. Previous to joining Signature Tax, Esmail worked in the commercial lending department based in central London.

Esmail is primarily responsible for managing the business development team at Signature Tax as well as managing relationships with entrepreneur’s, HNWI’s, SME’s and various accounting firms across London and the South East. Esmail regularly advises clients and their accountants on tailored tax efficient solutions.

Outside of work, Esmail is a trustee of a few local educational and charitable institutions and likes to get involved within the local community.

Sobayha VALLI, tax Manager

Sobayha began her career with PwC where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant, with  a specialism in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that she was also involved in the audit side of retail banking and investment management firms.  She has also worked as a strategy manager for a large direct mail order business.

Her breadth of experience means she is familiar with managing stakeholder objectives and understanding the long-term growth and succession planning requirements of business owners.

Sobayha is currently studying the final papers for her Chartered Tax Adviser qualification.


MOHAMMED KOLA, associate director, North and midlands

Mohammed is a dynamic business development executive with over a 10-year track record of surpassing sales targets within highly competitive markets. He is an exceptional multilingual communicator with a consultative style. Mohammed has a variety of commercial and corporate account management skills, exceptional problem solving abilities and a keen client needs assessment aptitude. He also deals with networking to develop and identify opportunities, develop focus, and provide tactical client solutions.  In his spare time Mohammed is a FA qualified coach and helps with his local football teams.

RIZWAN ADAM AKHTAR, Assistant tax manager

‘Rizwan is our junior member of the team. He graduated in 2015 in Finance and has worked for a number of Investment Firms before deciding to pursue a career within tax.

Rizwan is a keen traveller, and after university he travelled around South-East Asia. Rizwan is very active runner and a regular attendee at the gym.



Adam started his career studying IT, Business, Mathematics and Economics.

Subsequently he took over his family business Komptech selling computers and electronic equipment. Moving on Adam later became head of contract and procurement, responsible for managing the delivery of the numerous private and public sector contracts in the IT support and infrastructure sectors. In 2010, he then set up an online property management company, Dream Travel.

To date, Adam has been working within Operations at Signature Tax, he has been instrumental in developing the IT strategy and implementing bespoke software packages to improve efficiency with the strategic objective of also adding the same value to the dynamic client base within the firm. 

Adam is a car enthusiast and keen footballer.


Allen began his career in accountancy at the age of 11!

After working summer and winter holidays in a city centre accountancy practice through high school and university, he joined them full time on graduation and worked for a further 4 years until the firm was purchased by Hallidays, the oldest independent firm of accountants in Manchester.

Allen qualified as a chartered certified accountant with Hallidays in 2001 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

With over 30 years’ experience in accountancy working for a number of established firms and with a wide variety of clients Allen has the technical knowledge and skills to maximise clients’ R&D claims.

Outside of work Allen is involved in the local community and he and his family are keen walkers.
